Microbiology Serology

Microbiology is the scientific study of microorganisms, those being of unicellular, multicellular, or acellular. Microbiology encompasses numerous sub-disciplines including virology, bacteriology, protistology, mycology, immunology, and parasitology. Serology is the analysis of blood samples is performed to check for the presence of antigens and antibodies (IgG and IgM) to help with the diagnosis of diseases and test immunity status.
